Deuce Flatty

Finally after about 5 years of always missing hot rod shows due to ill timing or professional obligations, I was able to make the run to Austin, TX for the Lone Star Roundup. If you ever have the opportunity to make the show, I highly recommend it; I don't think you could ask for a better collection of hot rods, customs, and gassers. The music is good and there is an overall aire of excitement from all ages and walks of life. The smell of gasoline, beer, and cigarette smoke...it's everything hot rodding should be. This old deuce coupe caught my eye for some reason. Perhaps it was merely the standby old finned Edelbrock heads and the pinstriped oil filter housing. WHo knows, but it was automotive art at its finest...
